Private trip planning · Vienna

Vienna,arranged.

A quiet concierge for American grandparents showing their grandchildren the city — every detail perfectly orchestrated.

Why this exists

A beautiful Vienna trip should not feel like a second job.

Forty-seven browser tabs. The table at Sacher already booked out for the night you wanted. The Spanish Riding School schedule that doesn’t match your hotel. A ten-year-old who needs to keep moving, and a sixty-eight-year-old knee that doesn’t.

You don’t want a spectacle. You want the classics, well chosen and well timed, and someone in Vienna who simply takes care of it — so the trip with your grandchildren is the memory you imagined, not a logistics project.

Vienna, gently

A city that already knows how to be kind to visitors.

Flat, walkable, immaculately served by lifts and trams. The classics — Schönbrunn, the Hofburg, the Kaffeehäuser, the opera — sit close together. There is no need to rush or improvise. The art is in the timing.

We plan around your party’s real energy: a 10-year-old grandson, a 68-year-old knee, a quiet hour for melange and torte between two warm afternoons.

Coffee houses

A real table at Sacher or Demel, not the line outside.

The Lipizzaners

A box that suits your party and your tempo.

A late afternoon with the grandchildren, then dinner nearby.

Lena Brandstetter and Raphael Hofer, founders of Vienna Concierge

Lena Brandstetter & Raphael Hofer — Vienna

The people behind it

Two people. One small studio in the 1st district.

Lena Brandstetter trained in art history and spent nearly a decade at the Albertina, where she learned how a city like Vienna reveals itself slowly, on the right afternoon, in the right room.

Raphael Hofer worked for twelve years as a guest-relations manager at one of Vienna’s grand hotels, looking after families who came back year after year and expected, quite reasonably, to be remembered.

We began Vienna Concierge after one too many American couples told us, quietly, the same thing: we love this city, but the planning ate the trip. Especially when grandchildren were coming along.

So we built a small studio that does one thing well. We answer the email ourselves. We make the bookings ourselves. And when you arrive in Vienna, the number you have is ours.
